Meet Alexis, Your Stitchmas Guide
Brother Educator | Embroidery Coach | Creator of the “My Pretty Perfect Planner” | Founder of Sew Sweet Academy
From scrubs to stitches, Alexis Galloway has built a global community of embroiderers who’ve fallen back in love with their machines.
After years of working in healthcare, Alexis traded her scrubs for a ring light and a vibrant Facebook group. launching Sew Sweet Academy in 2019.
Since then, she’s taught thousands of students how to stitch with confidence, creativity, and joy.
Taught to sew and craft by her mom, Alexis brings that same spirit of patience and playfulness to every project. Her signature teaching style is relaxed, witty, and designed to help you actually finish what you start, frustration-free.

🎄What if I’m brand new to embroidery?
Perfect! The 12 Days of Stitchmas projects are beginner-friendly and guided step-by-step. We break everything down clearly, and you’ll learn as you stitch, even if you’ve never completed a project before.
✂️ What if I can’t make the live sessions?
No worries at all! Every live tutorial and Q&A is recorded and uploaded within 24 hours. You’ll have access to all replays and files so you can stitch at your own pace.
🎁 What supplies do I need? How much do they cost?
You’ll get a full materials and shopping list after you register, with links to everything you need (and probably already have). These projects are designed to use up your stash and make the most of what’s on hand! Most stitchers spend less than $25 for all materials needed.
✨ Do I need a specific embroidery machine?
Nope! All designs work with any embroidery machine that accepts common file types (PES, DST, EXP, etc.). If you have a question about your machine, I am here to help guide you.
🎄 Will I be able to ask questions during Stitchmas?
Yes! You’ll have live Q&A sessions and can also interact in the community project parade event! It’s a fun and encouraging space to share your progress.
✂️ When does registration close?
November 30th at midnight EST. Once we start on December 1st, the doors close, and we begin our 12 days of stitching magic! Please note, we do have to cap attendees and might have to close early due to limited availability!

Nope — everything is digital! You’ll get instant access to files, tutorials, and guides online. Stitch right from your home craft space.
